หรือ SCGC ผู้นำธุรกิจพอลิเมอร์และโซลูชันครบวงจรเพื่อความยั่งยืน ร่วมลงนามบันทึกความร่วมมือ (MoU) โครงการ “ความร่วมมือบรรจุภัณฑ์หมุนเวียนเพื่อความยั่งยืน (Packaging Circularity Collaboration)” ด้วยนวัตกรรมเม็ดพลาสติกรีไซเคิลคุณภาพสูง (High Quality PCR) จาก SCGC GREEN POLYMER โดยนำพลาสติกใช้แล้วภายในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมของน้ำตาลมิตรผล กลับมารีไซเคิลและผลิตเป็นฟิล์มสำหรับห่อผลิตภัณฑ์ต่าง ๆ ของกลุ่มมิตรผล อาทิ น้ำตาลมิตรผล เฟรชชี่ ไซรัป รวมทั้งฟิล์มหดรัดสำหรับผลิตภัณฑ์น้ำแร่เอโตะ
ความร่วมมือดังกล่าว ส่งเสริมให้เกิดระบบ Closed-Loop เพื่อให้พลาสติกใช้แล้วกลับเข้าสู่กระบวนการรีไซเคิล ไม่เล็ดรอดออกสู่สังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม และยังมุ่งเน้นการใช้ทรัพยากรให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดตามหลักเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน สนับสนุนเป้าหมายของกลุ่มมิตรผลที่มุ่งสู่ Net Zero ในปี 2050 และสอดคล้องกับกลยุทธ์ด้านความยั่งยืน Low Waste, Low Carbon ของ SCGC อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
Mitr Phol and SCGC Join Forces to Develop Sustainable Packaging and
Accelerate Circular Economy Through Closed-Loop Recycling for Low-Carbon Society
Bangkok – 20 October 2025: Parin Amatyakul, Senior Executive Vice President Marketing Group of Mitr Phol Sugar Corp Limited, the leading sugar producer in the Asia-Pacific region, together with Chatri Eamsobhana, Chief Commercial Officer of SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited, or SCGC, a leader in integrated polymer and solutions provider for sustainability, have jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the “Packaging Circularity Collaboration” project. This collaboration utilizes innovative High-Quality PCR resin from SCGC GREEN POLYMER by recycling used plastics from Mitr Phol sugar mills and converting them into film for various Mitr Phol product lines, such as Mitr Phol sugar, FRESHY syrup, and shrink film for Eto mineral water.
This partnership promotes a closed-loop system where used plastics are re-introduced into the recycling process rather than leaking into the environment. It also emphasises the optimal use of resources in accordance with circular economy principles. The initiative supports Mitr Phol’s ambition to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, and aligns concretely with SCGC’s “Low Waste, Low Carbon” sustainability strategy.
