ทุกวันที่ 21 กันยายนของทุกปี คือวันสันติภาพสากล (International Day of Peace) ซึ่งสหประชาชาติประกาศขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี 1981 เพื่อส่งเสริมการสร้างสันติภาพและยุติความขัดแย้งในทุกมิติ ทั้งด้านการเมือง สังคม เศรษฐกิจ และสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยเชิญชวนให้ประชาคมโลกทุกประเทศร่วมมือกันเพื่อสันติภาพอย่างแท้จริง
เนื่องในโอกาสวันสำคัญนี้ สภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ (UNPKFC) ร่วมกับองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรี (อบจ.นนทบุรี) และองค์กรพันธมิตรระดับนานาชาติ จัดกิจกรรม “วันสันติภาพสากล 2025” อย่างยิ่งใหญ่ ณ โรงยิมเนเซียม สนามกีฬากลางจังหวัดนนทบุรี เพื่อปลูกฝังและกระตุ้นจิตสำนึกเยาวชนในวัฒนธรรมแห่งสันติภาพ ภายใต้แนวคิด “สันติภาพเริ่มต้นที่เรา” (Peace Begins With Us) มุ่งหวังสร้างอนาคตที่สงบสุขและยั่งยืนสำหรับโลกของเรา
งานในครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก นายเกียรติศักดิ์ ตรงศิริ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดนนทบุรี เป็นประธานเปิดงาน พร้อมด้วย พ.ต.อ.ธงชัย เย็นประเสริฐ นายกองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรี กล่าวรายงาน และ ดร.อภินิตา ไชยชนะ ประธานสภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพ (UNPKFC) และประธานโครงการ IDP2025 กล่าวถึงความสำคัญของโครงการ พร้อมด้วย คุณปิยาภรณ์ แสนโกศิก ประธานกรรมการบริหาร TPN Global นำทีมเยาวชนนางงาม ส่งพลังบวก สร้างสีสันและความคึกคักให้กับงาน
ครั้งนี้รวบรวมพลังเยาวชนและเครือข่ายผู้รักษาสันติภาพกว่า 4,000 คน จากทั่วประเทศและนานาชาติ ได้แก่ ยุวทูตเพื่อสันติภาพ (UNPKFC), MR.Global Thailand 2025, Miss Global Thailand 2026, Next G Junior, Next G Teenage, ทหารผ่านศึก, ผู้สูงอายุ และกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ต่าง ๆ ที่ร่วมมือกันส่งเสริมบทบาทผู้นำเยาวชนบนเวทีโลก
ด้วยความร่วมมือจากภาครัฐ เอกชน และองค์กรพันธมิตรระดับนานาชาติ อาทิ องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรี, The Royal Society of St. George – California Branch, United Nations Association of Coachella Valley Chapter U.S.A (UNA-USA), World Book of Records London, UNPKFC Global Group (UNGG), และ TPN Global รวมถึงหน่วยงานการศึกษาในจังหวัดนนทบุรีกว่า 34 โรงเรียน และหน่วยงานนอกสังกัดอีกมากมายที่ร่วมแสดงพลังอย่างล้นหลาม
กิจกรรมภายในงานประกอบด้วยการประกวดวาดภาพในหัวข้อ “สันติภาพและการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน” เพื่อสะท้อนมุมมองและแรงบันดาลใจของเยาวชน พร้อมพิธีมอบรางวัลเชิดชูบุคคลและองค์กรที่อุทิศตนเพื่อสันติภาพและส่วนรวม รวมถึงรางวัลผู้มีผลงานโดดเด่นด้านสันติภาพ ซึ่งถือเป็นแบบอย่างและแรงบันดาลใจสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนวัฒนธรรมแห่งสันติสุข
บรรยากาศงานเต็มไปด้วยความอบอุ่นและพลังแห่งความหวัง ผ่านเสียงเพลง การแสดงศิลปะ และการเคลื่อนไหวของเยาวชนบนเวที ถ่ายทอดความมุ่งมั่นขับเคลื่อนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) ผ่านสันติภาพ ความสมานฉันท์ และการอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างหลากหลายอย่างสันติสุข
หนึ่งในไฮไลต์ของงาน คือภาพความยิ่งใหญ่ของเยาวชนกว่า 4,000 คน ที่ร่วมกันโบกธงชาติอย่างพร้อมเพรียง คลื่นธงสีสันสดใสเคลื่อนไหวเต็มพื้นที่โรงยิมเนเซียม ส่งพลังแห่งความสามัคคีและความรักชาติอย่างตระการตา
ในช่วงพิธีสำคัญ เยาวชนทุกคนร่วมกันจุดเทียนสันติภาพ ส่องแสงอบอุ่นทั่วพื้นที่ แสดงถึงพลังแห่งการรวมตัวเพื่อสันติภาพและส่งสารแห่งความหวังสู่สังคมโลกอย่างชัดเจน
ดร.อภินิตา ไชยชนะ กล่าวถึงความหมายของสันติภาพและความเชื่อมโยงกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) ว่า
“สันติภาพไม่ใช่เพียงจุดหมายปลายทาง แต่เป็นเส้นทางที่เราต้องร่วมกันสร้างขึ้นในทุกมิติของชีวิต เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน คือเข็มทิศสำคัญที่จะนำพาเราไปสู่โลกที่สงบสุข เท่าเทียม และเปี่ยมด้วยศักดิ์ศรีความเป็นมนุษย์ เพราะทุกเป้าหมายใน SDGs เชื่อมโยงอย่างลึกซึ้งกับสันติภาพ ทั้งการขจัดความยากจน การเข้าถึงการศึกษาอย่างทั่วถึง ความเท่าเทียมทางเพศ และการสร้างสังคมที่ยุติธรรม
เรามุ่งมั่นเดินหน้าภายใต้หลักการ ‘ไม่ทิ้งใครไว้ข้างหลัง’ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเด็ก ผู้หญิง ผู้สูงอายุ หรือกลุ่มเปราะบาง เพราะสันติภาพจะไม่สมบูรณ์ หากยังมีผู้ใดถูกทอดทิ้งไว้เบื้องหลัง
เยาวชนคือพลังแห่งการเปลี่ยนแปลงและผู้นำแห่งสันติภาพในวันนี้และอนาคต เราจึงให้ความสำคัญกับการส่งเสริมบทบาทของพวกเขา ผ่านพลังของ Hard Power, Soft Power และ Smart Power อย่างสมดุลและชาญฉลาด เพื่อร่วมกันสร้างโลกที่ดีกว่าและยั่งยืนสำหรับทุกคน”
ภายในงานยังมีพิธีมอบรางวัลแด่ผู้นำที่อุทิศตนเพื่อสังคมด้านสันติภาพ และบุคลากรดีเด่นจาก 40 โรงเรียนที่ได้รับการคัดเลือก โดย ดร.อภินิตา ไชยชนะ ประธานจัดงานโครงการ IDP2025 เป็นผู้มอบต่อมาเป็นช่วงพิธีมอบรางวัลให้กับนักเรียนผู้ชนะเลิศการประกวดวาดภาพระดับโรงเรียน ได้แก่ นักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษา 4 คน และระดับมัธยมศึกษา 4 คน โดย นางสาวรังษิมา ทองพันชั่ง ผู้อำนวยการสภาสหพันธ์รักษาสันติภาพประจำประเทศไทย ให้เกียรติเป็นผู้มอบรางวัล

UNPKFC Ignites the Energy of Over 4,000 Youth to Foster a Culture of Peace on International Day of Peace 2025
Under the theme “Peace Begins With Us,” Building a Peaceful Future for the World
Nonthaburi, 17 September 2025 – Every year on September 21st, the world observes the International Day of Peace, established by the United Nations in 1981 to promote peace and end conflict in all dimensions—political, social, economic, and environmental. This day calls upon the global community to unite in genuine cooperation for peace.
On this significant occasion, the United Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC), in collaboration with the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO) and international partner organizations, hosted the grand event “International Day of Peace 2025” at the Nonthaburi Central Sports Complex Gymnasium. The event aimed to instill and raise awareness among youth about the culture of peace, embracing the theme “Peace Begins With Us,” with the vision to create a peaceful and sustainable future for our world.
The ceremony was honored by Mr. Kiattisak Trongsiri, Governor of Nonthaburi Province, who presided over the opening. Police Colonel Thongchai Yenprasert, President of the Nonthaburi PAO, delivered the report, followed by Dr. Aphinita Chaichana, Global President of UNPKFC and Chairperson of IDP2025 Program, who highlighted the significance of the project. Ms. Piyaporn Saengkosik, Chairperson of TPN Global, led a vibrant group of youth ambassadors to energize the event with positivity and enthusiasm.
The event gathered the collective strength of over 4,000 youth and peacekeepers from across Thailand and abroad, including the UNPKFC Youth Ambassadors for Peace, MR.Global Thailand 2025, Miss Global Thailand 2026, Next G Junior, Next G Teenage, veterans, seniors, and various ethnic groups—all united in promoting youth leadership on the global stage.
Supported by government agencies, private sectors, and international partners such as the Nonthaburi PAO, The Royal Society of St. George – California Branch, United Nations Association of Coachella Valley Chapter U.S.A. (UNA-USA), World Book of Records London, UNPKFC Global Group (UNGG), and TPN Global, as well as over 34 educational institutions from Nonthaburi province and numerous other organizations, the event showcased overwhelming solidarity.
Key activities included an art contest themed “Peace and Sustainable Development,” reflecting youth perspectives and inspirations, along with an awards ceremony honoring individuals and organizations dedicated to peace and the common good. Awards also recognized outstanding contributions to peace, serving as exemplary inspirations driving the culture of peace forward.
The atmosphere brimmed with warmth and hope, enlivened by music, artistic performances, and youth movements on stage, symbolizing a strong commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through peace, harmony, and peaceful coexistence in diversity.
One of the event’s highlights was the spectacular sight of over 4,000 youth waving national flags in unison, creating vibrant waves that filled the gymnasium with a powerful display of unity and patriotism. During a pivotal moment, all youth participants lit peace candles, illuminating the venue with a warm glow, symbolizing collective strength for peace and sending a clear message of hope to the global community.
Dr. Aphinita Chaichana reflected on the meaning of peace and its connection to the SDGs:
“Peace is not merely a destination but a journey we must build together across all aspects of life. The Sustainable Development Goals serve as a vital compass guiding us toward a world that is peaceful, equitable, and dignified for all.
Every SDG goal is deeply linked to peace—eradicating poverty, ensuring universal education access, promoting gender equality, and creating just societies.
We are committed to advancing under the principle of ‘leaving no one behind’—whether children, women, the elderly, or vulnerable groups—because peace remains incomplete if anyone is left behind. Youth are the driving force of change and today’s and tomorrow’s leaders of peace. We emphasize empowering them through a balanced and intelligent use of Hard Power, Soft Power, and Smart Power to collectively build a better, sustainable world for all.”
The event also included an awards ceremony honoring leaders devoted to social peace and outstanding personnel from 40 selected schools. Dr. Aphinita Chaichana presented these awards. Subsequently, awards were given to winners of the school-level art contest, including four primary and four secondary school students, presented by Ms. Rangsima Thongpunchung, Country Director of the UNPKFC Thailand branch.
UNPKFC extends heartfelt gratitude to all sectors—government, private, national and international partners, educators, parents, and youth—who have contributed to promoting and advancing peace under the theme “Peace Begins With Us,” for a truly peaceful and sustainable future where no one is left behind.
