KBTG ได้รับการยกย่องจากนิตยสาร Global Finance สื่อการเงินระดับโลก รับรางวัล The Innovators เป็นปีที่ 2 ติดต่อกัน โดยปีนี้ครองแชมป์ในสาขาบริษัทเทคโนโลยีทางการเงินที่มีนวัตกรรมโดดเด่นที่สุดในภูมิภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิก ประจำปี 2025 (Most Innovative Financial Technology Company in Asia-Pacific 2025) และยังเป็นครั้งแรกที่องค์กรไทยได้รับรางวัลในสาขานี้ จากความสำเร็จในการพัฒนาโซลูชันเทคโนโลยีที่พลิกโฉมการให้บริการของธนาคารกสิกรไทย และยกระดับประสบการณ์ของผู้ใช้บริการทางการเงินทั่วประเทศ
นายเรืองโรจน์ พูนผล ประธานกลุ่มบริษัท กสิกร บิซิเนส-เทคโนโลยี กรุ๊ป (KBTG) เปิดเผยว่า KBTG มุ่งมั่นเสริมสร้างศักยภาพในการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีที่สามารถตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้ใช้งานและอุตสาหกรรมการเงินอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยในปีที่ผ่านมามีผลงานเด่นๆ 2 ชิ้นงาน
ได้แก่ 1.การสนับสนุนธุรกิจธนาคาร (Run the Bank) เพื่อยกระดับบริการและประสบการณ์ของลูกค้าของธนาคารกสิกรไทยกว่า 24 ล้านราย ด้วยโปรเจค Core Banking Horizontal Scale เพื่อเพิ่มศักยภาพให้กับระบบ Core Banking อันเปรียบเสมือนหัวใจหลักของธนาคาร ด้วยการเพิ่ม Core Banking อีกหนึ่งชุด เพื่อทำงานควบคู่กับระบบเดิม โดยระหว่างการพัฒนาจะต้องไม่เกิด Downtime ที่จะส่งผลกระทบต่อการทำธุรกรรมหรือการใช้งานของลูกค้า ด้วยระบบใหม่นี้ ธนาคารสามารถรองรับธุรกรรมการเงินได้มากกว่าเดิม 50% และรองรับการเติบโตของผู้ใช้งานได้มากถึง 60 ล้านบัญชีไปจนถึงปี 2574
2.ด้านการวิจัยพัฒนานวัตกรรมเทคโนโลยีใหม่ๆ KBTG ได้เปิดตัวแอปพลิเคชัน เหมียวจด (MeowJot) ที่ช่วยจดรายจ่ายอัตโนมัติจากภาพสลิปโอนเงิน รองรับสลิปจาก 19 แอปธนาคาร รวมถึง TrueMoney Wallet และมีผู้ใช้งานกว่า 400,000 คนในปัจจุบัน ช่วยให้ผู้ใช้งานสามารถติดตามพฤติกรรมการใช้เงินได้อย่างสะดวกและมีประสิทธิภาพ
ล่าสุด KBTG ได้คว้ารางวัล The Innovators 2025 เป็นปีที่ 2 ติดต่อกัน โดยปีนี้คว้าแชมป์ บริษัทเทคโนโลยีทางการเงินที่มีนวัตกรรมโดดเด่นที่สุดในภูมิภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิก ประจำปี 2025 (Most Innovative Financial Technology Company in Asia-Pacific 2025) และสร้างประวัติศาสตร์เป็นองค์กรแรกของไทยที่ได้รับรางวัลในสาขาดังกล่าวจากนิตยสาร Global Finance ซึ่งเชิดชูเกียรติองค์กรที่มีความโดดเด่นด้านนวัตกรรมทางการเงิน โดยเฉพาะสถาบันการเงินและบริษัทฟินเทคที่สามารถนำเสนอแนวคิดริเริ่มและโซลูชันใหม่ๆ ที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่ออุตสาหกรรมการเงินในยุคดิจิทัล ตอกย้ำการรักษาความเป็นผู้นำของ KBTG ในด้านนวัตกรรมอย่างต่อเนื่อง หลังจากในปี 2567 ที่ผ่านมา KBTG ได้คว้ารางวัล The Innovators ในสาขา Compliance/Risk Innovation: Best eKYC Innovation to Minimize Facial Fraud มาแล้ว จากผลงาน KBTG Face Liveness Detection
นายเรืองโรจน์ กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า การได้รับรางวัลครั้งนี้ ไม่เพียงแต่ตอกย้ำความมุ่งมั่นของ KBTG ในการขับเคลื่อนนวัตกรรม แต่ยังเป็นเครื่องพิสูจน์ถึงการบรรลุเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้เมื่อปี 2562 ในการเป็นองค์กรเทคโนโลยีที่ดีที่สุดในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ภายในปี 2568 นอกจากนี้ KBTG มุ่งมั่นวิจัยและพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีอย่างต่อเนื่อง ให้ทุกธุรกรรมการเงินสะดวกสบายและไม่มีสะดุด รวมถึงปลูกฝังวินัยทางการเงิน ไปจนถึงการเข้าไปมีบทบาทในภาคศึกษา โดยในช่วงไตรมาสที่ 4 ปี 2568 นี้ KBTG มีแผนการเปิดตัวผลงานและโปรเจคใหม่ๆ เพื่อยกระดับการเงินและชีวิตไปอีกขั้น
KBTG wins The Innovators 2025 Awards for the second consecutive year, making history as the first Thai organization to receive the Most Innovative Financial Technology Company in Asia-Pacific award from Global Finance
KBTG has been recognized by Global Finance, a leading international financial magazine, with The Innovators Awards for the second consecutive year. This year, KBTG claimed the honor as the Most Innovative Financial Technology Company in Asia-Pacific 2025. It also marks the first time a Thai organization has received this distinction – a testament to KBTG’s success in developing transformative technology solutions that have revolutionized KASIKORNBANK’s services and elevated the financial experience for users across Thailand.
Mr. Ruangroj Poonpol, Group Chairman, KASIKORN Business-Technology Group (KBTG), said, “KBTG is committed to enhancing its capabilities in developing technologies that effectively meet the needs of users and the financial industry. Over the past year, the company has achieved two outstanding innovations, including: 1. Run the Bank: Focus is to enhance services and the customer experience for more than 24 million KBank’s clients through the ‘Core Banking Horizontal Scaling’ project, which aims to strengthen the Bank’s core banking system – the heart of its operations. The project involves adding another core banking system to operate in parallel with the existing one while ensuring that no downtime occurs during the development that could affect transactions or usage. With this new system, the Bank will be able to accommodate 50 percent more financial transactions and up to 60 million accounts by 2031.
- Technological innovation and research: KBTG launched MeowJot, an automated expense-tracking app that reads transaction e-slips from 19 mobile banking applications, including TrueMoney Wallet. With more than 400,000 users today, the app allows them to conveniently and efficiently track their spending habits.”
Most recently, KBTG won The Innovators Awards for the second consecutive year and became the first Thai organization in history to be crowned the Most Innovative Financial Technology Company in Asia-Pacific by Global Finance. The magazine honors organizations with outstanding financial innovation, particularly financial institutions and fintech companies that can introduce beneficial new concepts and solutions for the financial industry in the digital age. This achievement reinforces KBTG’s sustained leadership in innovation, following its 2024 win in the Compliance/Risk Innovation category for Best eKYC Innovation to Minimize Facial Fraud, with its face liveness detection solution.
