นางกอบกาญจน์ วัฒนวรางกูร (นั่งกลาง) ประธานมูลนิธิกสิกรไทย ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พรศักดิ์ ศรีอมรศักดิ์ (นั่งซ้าย) คณบดีคณะเภสัชศาสตร์ ปฏิบัติการแทนอธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร และ นายธีระศักดิ์ วิกิตเศรษฐ์ (นั่งขวา) กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท เอส แอนด์ เจ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เอนเตอร์ไพรส์ จำกัด (มหาชน) ร่วมลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจ ความร่วมมือในการส่งเสริมการวิจัยและพัฒนานวัตกรรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพจากพืชยาน่านในระดับอุตสาหกรรม ภายใต้แนวคิด พืชยาคืนป่า ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการน่านแซนด์บอกซ์
ความร่วมมือครั้งนี้มีความพิเศษคือ การยกระดับองค์ความรู้และนวัตกรรมจากงานวิจัยสู่ระดับอุตสาหกรรม โดยผสานจุดแข็งของสามภาคส่วน – ภาคสังคม ภาควิชาการ และภาคเอกชนชั้นนำระดับนานาชาติในอุตสาหกรรมสุขภาพและความงาม เพื่อสร้างมาตรฐานใหม่ของผลิตภัณฑ์สุขภาพจากพืชยาของไทย
โครงการนี้จะช่วยเพิ่มมูลค่าและรายได้ให้กับเกษตรกรในพื้นที่ ควบคู่ไปกับการฟื้นฟูป่าต้นน้ำน่าน อันเป็นทรัพยากรที่มีค่า เป็นป่าต้นน้ำอันดับหนึ่งของประเทศ และเป็นต้นแบบของการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจสีเขียวอย่างยั่งยืน โดยมี คุณกฤษณ์ จิตต์แจ้ง (ยืนกลาง) กรรมการและผู้จัดการมูลนิธิกสิกรไทย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สรวง รุ่งประกายพรรณ (ยืนซ้าย) รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิจัย นวัตกรรม และเทคโนโลยี คณะเภสัชศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร และศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ภญ.มาลิน อังสุรังษี (ยืนขวา) กรรมการรองผู้จัดการ บริษัท เอส แอนด์ เจ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เอนเตอร์ไพรส์ จำกัด (มหาชน) ร่วมเป็นสักขีพยาน ณ ธนาคารกสิกรไทย สำนักงานใหญ่ พหลโยธิน เมื่อเร็วๆ นี้
KASIKORNTHAI Foundation joins hands with Silpakorn University and S&J International Enterprises Public Company Limited to promote and elevate health promotion research and innovation in medicinal plants native to Nan’s forests to meet industrial standards
Ms. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul (Sit in the middle), Chairperson of the KASIKORNTHAI Foundation, Prof. Dr. Pornsak Sriamornsak (Sit on the left), Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, acting on behalf of the President of Silpakorn University, and Mr. Thirasak Vikitset (Sit on the right), Managing Director of S&J International Enterprises Public Company Limited, recently signed a memorandum of understanding on collaboration to promote health promotion research and the development of innovation in medicinal plants native to Nan’s forests at the industrial level under the “Medicinal Plants for Forest Restoration” concept as part of the Nan Sandbox Project.
This collaboration is significant as it aims to elevate knowledge and innovation derived from research to an industrial level by integrating the strengths of three key sectors – the social sector, the academic sector, and the private sector comprising leading international companies in the health and beauty industries – to establish a new standard for health products based on Thai medicinal plants.
The project will help increase value and income for local farmers, while also contributing to the restoration of Nan’s headwater forests, a precious natural resource recognized as Thailand’s most vital watershed area, and serving as a model for sustainable green economic development. Present as witnesses to the signing ceremony were Mr. Krit Jitjang (Stand in the middle), Director and Manager of the KASIKORNTHAI Foundation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Suang Rungpragayphan (Stand on the left), Associate Dean for Research, Innovation and Technology of Silpakorn University and Prof. Dr. Malyn Ungsurungsie (Stand on the right), Deputy Managing Director of S&J International Enterprises Public Company Limited.
