ก๊าซธรรมชาติ LNG พลังงานไฮโดรเจน เทคโนโลยีภูมิอากาศ และปัญญาประดิษฐ์ ที่ยิ่งใหญ่และทรงอิทธิพลที่สุดของโลก ระหว่างวันที่ 15–18 กันยายน 2569 ณ ศูนย์นิทรรศการและการประชุมนานาชาติไบเทค (BITEC) กรุงเทพมหานครฯ ประเทศไทย
นับเป็นการกลับมาจัดในภูมิภาคเอเชียอีกครั้งในรอบ 3 ปี โดยความร่วมมือกับสำนักงานส่งเสริมการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ (องค์การมหาชน) พร้อมการสนับสนุนจากคณะกรรมการกำกับกิจการพลังงาน (กกพ.) และบริษัท ดีเอ็มจี อีเว้นท์ เป็นผู้จัดงาน ตลอดจนได้รับความร่วมมือจากพันธมิตรด้านพลังงานอย่างบริษัท ปตท. จำกัด (มหาชน) และการไฟฟ้าฝ่ายผลิตแห่งประเทศไทย (กฟผ.)
ดร. ประเสริฐ สินสุขประเสริฐ ปลัดกระทรวงพลังงาน กล่าวว่า “นับเป็นเกียรติอย่างยิ่งที่ประเทศไทยได้รับโอกาสเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงาน Gastech 2026 และต้อนรับประชาคมด้านพลังงานจากทั่วโลกในช่วงเวลาสำคัญของการเปลี่ยนผ่านด้านพลังงาน โดยรัฐบาลและกระทรวงฯ เล็งเห็นว่า LNG เป็นเชื้อเพลิงเปลี่ยนผ่านที่ได้รับการยอมรับในระดับสากล จึงเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือกับพันธมิตรนานาชาติ เพื่อร่วมขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมพลังงานทั้งในภูมิภาคเอเชียและในระดับโลก ตลอดจนสนับสนุนการลงทุนและนวัตกรรมที่จำเป็นต่อการสร้างอนาคตพลังงานที่เข้มแข็ง ยั่งยืน และครอบคลุมทุกภาคส่วน”
งาน ‘Gastech 2026’ จะเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือและการเจรจาด้านพลังงานระดับนานาชาติ ด้วยจำนวนผู้เข้าร่วมงานกว่า 50,000 คน ผู้แสดงสินค้ากว่า 1,000 ราย และวิทยากรที่เชี่ยวชาญกว่า 1,000 ท่านจากทั่วโลก งานประชุมดังกล่าวยังเป็นการรวมตัวผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียจากทุกภูมิภาคเพื่อผลักดันความร่วมมือ เสนอแนะนโยบายและแนวทางการก้าวสู่ยุคสมัยใหม่แห่งการเติบโตของอุตสาหกรรมพลังงานทั้งในเอเชียและในระดับโลก ทั้งนี้ การที่ Gastech เลือกจัดงานในเอเชีย สะท้อนถึงบทบาทเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ของภูมิภาคต่ออนาคตของพลังงาน โดยเฉพาะเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในตลาดพลังงานที่มีศักยภาพสูงสุด ด้วยอัตราการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจที่ต่อเนื่อง การขยายตัวอย่างรวดเร็วของประชากร ประกอบกับความต้องการพลังงานที่เพิ่มสูงขึ้น ทั้งนี้ คาดการณ์ว่าความต้องการใช้ก๊าซธรรมชาติในภูมิภาคจะเพิ่มขึ้นถึง 182% ภายในระยะเวลา 10 ปี (อ้างอิงจากการวิจัยของ Wood Mackenzie ปี 2567) ขณะที่ความหลากหลายของเชื้อเพลิง เทคโนโลยี และโครงสร้างพื้นฐานภายในภูมิภาค จะช่วยเสริมสร้างระบบพลังงานที่ยืดหยุ่น พร้อมรองรับการพัฒนาในอนาคต

ดร. นรินทร์ เผ่าวณิช รองผู้ว่าการเชื้อเพลิง รักษาการในตำแหน่งผู้ว่าการการไฟฟ้าฝ่ายผลิตแห่งประเทศไทย (กฟผ.) กล่าวว่า “ในฐานะรัฐวิสาหกิจด้านพลังงานของประเทศไทย กฟผ. มุ่งมั่นยกระดับความมั่นคงทางพลังงานและเดินหน้าการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่พลังงานสะอาดด้วยเทคโนโลยีทันสมัยและพลังงานหมุนเวียน กฟผ. เล็งเห็นว่าประเทศไทยมีศักยภาพในการเป็นศูนย์กลางการเปลี่ยนผ่านด้านพลังงานแห่งภูมิภาคเอเชีย การสนับสนุนงาน Gastech 2026 ซึ่งเป็นเวทีสำคัญสำหรับการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ นวัตกรรม และแนวทางความร่วมมือระดับภูมิภาคและระดับโลก จึงเป็นการแสดงเจตนารมณ์ของ กฟผ. ในการกำหนดอนาคตทางพลังงานที่ยั่งยืน”
นายพูลพัฒน์ ลีสมบัติไพบูลย์ เลขาธิการสำนักงานคณะกรรมการกำกับกิจการพลังงาน (กกพ.) กล่าวเสริมว่า Gastech 2026 เป็นเวทีสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนการแลกเปลี่ยนและกำหนดทิศทางเชิงนโยบายในประเด็นที่มีความสำคัญสูงสุด ทั้งมิติของการบูรณาการพลังงานระดับภูมิภาค ไปจนถึงเป้าหมายการลดการปล่อยคาร์บอนในระดับโลก โดย กกพ. ในฐานะหน่วยงานกำกับดูแลด้านพลังงานของประเทศ มีบทบาทสำคัญในการเร่งผลักดันการเปลี่ยนผ่านด้านพลังงาน และส่งเสริมให้การเปิดเสรีตลาดพลังงานเป็นไปอย่างราบรื่นและมีประสิทธิภาพ
