ธนาคารกสิกรไทย แจ้งผลประกอบการไตรมาส 1 ปี 2565 กำไร 11,211 ล้านบาท

นางสาวขัตติยา อินทรวิชัย ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร ธนาคารกสิกรไทย เปิดเผยว่า ภาวะเศรษฐกิจไทยในไตรมาส 1 ปี 2565 ยังคงเผชิญข้อจำกัดในการฟื้นตัว โดยแม้จะมีแรงหนุนจากการส่งออกสินค้า การใช้จ่ายและมาตรการสนับสนุนกำลังซื้อของภาครัฐ แต่การใช้จ่ายของภาคเอกชน ทั้งในส่วนของการบริโภคและการลงทุนยังคงได้รับผลกระทบจากการแพร่ระบาดของโควิด-19 และการขยับสูงขึ้นของอัตราเงินเฟ้อ ราคาน้ำมันและต้นทุนการผลิต สำหรับแนวโน้มในช่วงที่เหลือของปี มองว่า เส้นทางการฟื้นตัวของเศรษฐกิจไทยยังมีความไม่แน่นอน เพราะยังคงต้องรับมือกับสถานการณ์โควิด-19 และผลกระทบจากความขัดแย้งระหว่างรัสเซียและยูเครนที่มีต่อทิศทางราคาพลังงานและแนวโน้มเศรษฐกิจโลก

ผลการดำเนินงานสำหรับไตรมาส 1 ปี 2565 เปรียบเทียบกับไตรมาส 1 ปี 2564 

ธนาคารและบริษัทย่อยมีกำไรสุทธิจำนวน 11,211 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากไตรมาสเดียวกันของปีก่อนจำนวน 584 ล้านบาท หรือ 5.50% หลัก ๆ เกิดจากรายได้ดอกเบี้ยสุทธิเพิ่มขึ้นจำนวน 3,618 ล้านบาท หรือ 12.86% จากรายได้ดอกเบี้ยเงินให้สินเชื่อซึ่งเพิ่มขึ้นตามการเติบโตของเงินให้สินเชื่อ ส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากการให้สินเชื่อใหม่ตามยุทธศาสตร์ของธนาคารแก่ลูกค้าที่มีศักยภาพ และมีมาตรการช่วยเหลือลูกค้าโดยการเสริมสภาพคล่องให้ลูกค้าสามารถกลับมาดำเนินธุรกิจได้ปกติ รวมทั้งลูกค้าบางส่วนยังอยู่ภายใต้มาตรการพักชำระเงินต้นและดอกเบี้ย ทำให้ธนาคารยังคงต้องมีการบริหารจัดการดอกเบี้ยค้างรับอย่างต่อเนื่อง ในขณะที่รายได้ที่มิใช่ดอกเบี้ยลดลงจำนวน 3,032 ล้านบาท หรือ 25.49% ส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากการปรับมูลค่ายุติธรรม (Mark to market) ของสินทรัพย์ทางการเงินซึ่งเป็นไปตามภาวะตลาด สำหรับค่าใช้จ่ายจากการดำเนินงานอื่น ๆ เพิ่มขึ้นจำนวน 859 ล้านบาท หรือ 5.20% หลัก ๆ จากค่าใช้จ่ายด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ เพื่อให้สามารถรองรับความต้องการของลูกค้าได้มีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น และค่าใช้จ่ายทางการตลาด รวมทั้งธนาคารและบริษัทย่อยตั้งสำรองผลขาดทุนด้านเครดิตที่คาดว่าจะเกิดขึ้น (Expected credit loss : ECL) เพิ่มขึ้นจากไตรมาสเดียวกันของปีก่อนจำนวน 686 ล้านบาท หรือ 7.93% สอดคล้องกับการเติบโตของเงินให้สินเชื่อ ภาวะเศรษฐกิจที่ยังมีความไม่แน่นอนจากสถานการณ์โควิด-19 และแนวโน้มจากเศรษฐกิจโลก

ผลการดำเนินงานสำหรับไตรมาส 1 ปี 2565 เปรียบเทียบกับไตรมาส 4 ปี 2564 

ธนาคารและบริษัทย่อยมีกำไรสุทธิไตรมาส 1 ปี 2565 จำนวน 11,211 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากไตรมาสก่อน 1,310 ล้านบาท หรือ 13.23% โดยรายได้ดอกเบี้ยสุทธิเพิ่มขึ้นจำนวน 951 ล้านบาท หรือ 3.09% ส่วนใหญ่จากรายได้ดอกเบี้ยเงินให้สินเชื่อซึ่งเพิ่มขึ้นตามการเติบโตของเงินให้สินเชื่อ ทำให้อัตราผลตอบแทนสินทรัพย์ที่ก่อให้เกิดรายได้สุทธิ (Net interest margin : NIM) อยู่ที่ระดับ 3.19% ในขณะที่รายได้ที่มิใช่ดอกเบี้ยลดลงจำนวน 2,861 ล้านบาท หรือ 24.40% ส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากการปรับมูลค่ายุติธรรม (Mark to market) ของสินทรัพย์ทางการเงินซึ่งเป็นไปตามภาวะตลาด และรายได้สุทธิจากการรับประกันภัยที่ลดลง สำหรับค่าใช้จ่ายจากการดำเนินงานอื่น ๆ ลดลงจำนวน 3,088 ล้านบาท หรือ 15.08% เนื่องจากในไตรมาสก่อนมีค่าใช้จ่ายในกิจกรรมร่วมกับพันธมิตรทางธุรกิจ และค่าใช้จ่ายทางการตลาดซึ่งเป็นปกติตามฤดูกาล ส่งผลให้อัตราส่วนค่าใช้จ่ายจากการดำเนินงานอื่น ๆ ต่อรายได้จากการดำเนินงานสุทธิ (Cost to income ratio) ในไตรมาสนี้อยู่ที่ระดับ 42.82% นอกจากนี้ ธนาคารและบริษัทย่อยตั้งสำรองผลขาดทุนด้านเครดิตที่คาดว่าจะเกิดขึ้น (Expected credit loss : ECL) ในระดับที่ใกล้เคียงกับไตรมาสก่อน โดยยังคงใช้หลักความระมัดระวังอย่างต่อเนื่องในการพิจารณาปัจจัยต่าง ๆ อย่างรอบคอบ ท่ามกลางการฟื้นตัวของภาวะเศรษฐกิจที่ยังมีความไม่แน่นอนจากสถานการณ์โควิด-19 และแนวโน้มจากเศรษฐกิจโลก ซึ่งอัตราส่วนค่าเผื่อผลขาดทุนด้านเครดิตที่คาดว่าจะเกิดขึ้นต่อเงินให้สินเชื่อด้อยคุณภาพ (Coverage ratio) ณ วันที่ 31 มีนาคม 2565 อยู่ที่ระดับ 158.33% เป็นระดับที่เหมาะสม สอดคล้องกับสถานการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้น

ณ วันที่ 31 มีนาคม 2565 ธนาคารและบริษัทย่อยมีสินทรัพย์รวมจำนวน 4,133,248 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากสิ้นปี 2564 จำนวน 29,849 ล้านบาท หรือ 0.73% ส่วนใหญ่เป็นการเติบโตของเงินให้สินเชื่อ สำหรับเงินให้สินเชื่อด้อยคุณภาพต่อเงินให้สินเชื่อ (%NPL gross) ณ วันที่ 31 มีนาคม 2565 อยู่ที่ระดับ 3.78% โดยธนาคารมีการติดตามดูแลคุณภาพเงินให้สินเชื่อของลูกหนี้ที่ได้รับผลกระทบอย่างใกล้ชิด ขณะที่สิ้นปี 2564 อยู่ที่ระดับ 3.76% สำหรับอัตราส่วนเงินกองทุนทั้งสิ้นต่อสินทรัพย์เสี่ยงของกลุ่มธุรกิจทางการเงินธนาคารกสิกรไทยตามหลักเกณฑ์ Basel III ณ วันที่ 31 มีนาคม 2565 อยู่ที่ 18.34% โดยมีอัตราส่วนเงินกองทุนชั้นที่ 1 อยู่ที่ 16.35%

KASIKORNBANK announces the first quarter of 2022 net profit of Baht 11,211 Million 

Ms. Kattiya Indaravijaya, Chief Executive Officer of KASIKORNBANK, said the Thai economic recovery was challenged somewhat in the first quarter of 2022. While exports, government spending and stimulus measures helped support the overall economy, both private consumption and investment were subdued amid concerns about the COVID-19 outbreak and rising inflation, oil prices and production costs. The Thai economic growth outlook will remain uncertain due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation and the Russia-Ukraine conflict which continue to impact energy prices and global economy.

Operating performance for the first quarter of 2022 compared with the first quarter of 2021, 

KBank and its subsidiaries reported net profit of Baht 11,211 Million, an increase of Baht 584 Million or 5.50% over the same period of 2021 mainly due to an increase of net interest income by Baht 3,618 Million or 12.86% from interest income from loans to customers according to loans growth, mainly due to new lending in line with the Bank’s business direction to customers with potential and the Bank’s relief measures to inject liquidity for customers so that they could resume normal business operations. In addition, there are still some customers under the Bank’s relief measures covering moratorium on principal and interest payments that the Bank still continuously manage accrued interest. While non – interest income decreased by Baht 3,032 Million or 25.49%, mainly due to the mark to market of financial assets according to market condition. Other operating expenses increased by Baht 859 Million or 5.20%, mainly due to IT related expenses in order to support customers’ needs more efficiently and marketing expenses. Moreover, KBank and its subsidiaries set aside higher expected credit loss from the same period of 2021 by Baht 686 Million or 7.93% according to loans growth, economic that remains uncertain from COVID-19 situation and global economic outlook.

Operating performance for the first quarter of 2022 compared with the fourth quarter of 2021, 

KBank and its subsidiaries reported net profit for the first quarter of 2022 amounting to Baht 11,211 Million, an increase from the preceding quarter of Baht 1,310 Million or 13.23%. Net interest income increased by Baht 951 Million or 3.09% mainly due to interest income from loans to customers according to loans growth. NIM stood at 3.19%, while non – interest income decreased by Baht 2,861 Million or 24.40% mainly due to the mark to market of financial assets according to market condition and decrease in net premiums earned – net. Other operating expenses decreased by Baht 3,088 Million or 15.08% due to activities collaborated with business partners and marketing expenses due to seasonality in the previous quarter, resulting in the cost to income ratio that stood at 42.82% in this quarter. Moreover, KBank and its subsidiaries set aside expected credit loss that was approximate to the preceding quarter with continuous prudent consideration on factors amid the economic growth that remains uncertain from COVID-19 situation and global economic outlook. Coverage ratio as of 31 March 2022 stood at 158.33% that was suitable level and in line with situation happened.

As of 31 March 2022, KBank and its subsidiaries’ total assets were Baht 4,133,248 Million, an increase of Baht 29,849 Million or 0.73% over the end of 2021. The majority came from loans growth. As of 31 March 2022, NPL gross to total loans stood at 3.78%, while at the end of 2021 this stood at 3.76%. The Bank has closely monitored and assured credit quality for affected customers. In addition, as of 31 March 2022, KASIKORNBANK FINANCIAL CONGLOMERATE’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) according to the Basel III Accord was 18.34%, with a Tier-1 Capital ratio of 16.35%.
